The World Jewelry Center, which is currently being built in Las Vegas, is to house a museum. Christine Webb, who previously worked for the Smithsonian, is to serve as the museum`s curator.

WJC Managing Director Bill Boyajian noted that the WJC museum`s concept is to provide an independent attraction with the aim of drawing the public`s attention to the retail center, while also serving as an educational tool about gems and jewelry.
