The online diamond and jewelry retailer Shenoa & Co. has announced that it is exploring the Arctic for diamonds and other gems with Ryan Mining, an offshore mining company.
According to a US geological survey, there may be significant quantities of mineral sources in the Arctic. Various countries are reportedly tussling about rights to various areas of the Arctic.
Shenoa`s COO Scott Cowan stated, "We`re not waiting for others to bring diamonds to us. We`re going straight to the source."
